Half Step Trio play Sunnybrook United Church, 12 Stanton Street — Jeremy Doody on guitar, Curtis Phagoo on bass, Tyler Reimer on drums. A workshop follows on the Saturday and the festival jam on the Sunday.

2–3 PM, last Saturday of every month. Free, no audition, open to musicians of all levels. It has not missed a month since 2022 — the longest run of any jazz jam in Red Deer.
