The Community Jazz Jam returns Saturday, September 19, 2–3 PM at Taylor Towers, and this month it opens the Fifth Annual Red Deer Jazz Festival. Free, as always. Musicians of all levels welcome, and listeners too.

What to expect
Unlike most jams and open mics, we invite musicians of all levels. The jam is a safe, encouraging room to explore and hone your musicianship. We provide a full rhythm section and charts, with guidance on hand to keep the afternoon smooth. It is also a good hour to meet the other players in our small community.
Bring your instrument and come on out. If you would rather listen, pull up a chair.
